Shipping & Fulfillment Policy

Fulfillment
Our goal is to have your order picked, packed & shipped as quickly and as accurately as possible.

Once your order has been placed we make every effort to fulfill your order and have it delivered to our shipping partner within 1-3 days (excluding weekends and holidays). Exceptions may apply when we are awaiting your reply to a communication about your order or there are extenuating circumstances.

Once your order has shipped you will receive an email notification with tracking information included.

Shipping
Our primary shipping carrier is Canada Post. You can track your order at www.canadapost.ca or via the shipping notification you will receive after your order has been shipped. 

Kindly allow 2-10 working days for delivery via standard shipping methods, although within Canada the average time frame is 2 to 5 days. This applies only to orders delivered to a valid address within Canada and the United States via Standard Canada Parcel Post.

 US Orders - Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. Pacific Angler is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer.

Unfortunately, we are unable to ship to countries outside of Canada and the US at this time. 

Free Shipping
We are happy to provide free shipping on all orders over $150 CAD (before taxes) with a delivery destination in Canada. Please note that some items are not eligible for free shipping such as over-sized and over-weight products and some areas classified as remote by Canada Post. 

Our Free Shipping offer applies to most locations in Canada excluding but not limited to

the Yukon, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, as well as any other destination requiring ocean or air freight service in any province or territory. This policy also excludes all locations in Canada deemed as “remote” by Canada Post. In the extremely unlikely event that excessive freight rates are charged or quoted by our carriers for any other reason not stated in this policy, Pacific Angler Reserves the right to exempt that shipment from this policy. In all instances you will be contacted before your order ships to notify you of any extra freight charges not charged at the time of order. At that time, you can either approve or cancel your order if you wish.

More than 95% of Canadians do not reside in an area that would be classified as “remote”. If, however, you’re unsure as to whether or not you’re in a designated remote location, just email us at orders@pacificangler.ca

Oversized and Overweight Items
Including but not limited to: Boats and rafts, Spey rods, extra-long single hand rods, rod tubes/carriers, luggage, select nets, downriggers, trap pullers, select lead weights, anchors and cannon balls are not eligible for free shipping and may be subject to additional shipping costs or only available for in store pick-up. 

We have made every effort to note if a product is oversized/overweight or available for in store pickup only on the specific product page.

Insurance
We do offer insurance for your order.  The cost per order varies based on total value.  You can insure your order against loss, theft or damage.  

This protection is completely optional.  If you do not insure your package then we may not be able to replace your order due to loss, theft or damage.    

Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us at orders@pacificangler.ca within 48 hours of receiving the order if items are defective, damaged or incorrect.  If your item is damaged, please take clear photos of the item and packaging and keep all packaging.  This will allow us to evaluate the issue and work to make it right.  Damaged or incorrect orders reported outside of this timeframe will not be considered. 

In Store Pickup
If you requested In Store Pickup during the checkout process, your order will be prepared and ready for pickup, usually within 24 hours.   We will notify you via email when your order is confirmed and available for pickup (please do not come in advance of receiving the email confirming your order is ready for pickup). 

Our in-store pickup is available during business hours, 7 days a week.

When picking up your order in store, please be prepared to provide:

  • Your Email Order Confirmation or Order #
  • Photo ID
  • Pick up without these items may be denied

If someone else is picking up your order for you, please let us know in advance by emailing us at orders@pacificangler.ca.  You will need to provide us with their first and last name or we may not be able to release your order.  The person picking up on your behalf will need to provide email order confirmation or order # and show their photo ID.   To protect you and your purchases, orders that don't meet these requirements will not be released.  Cab drivers, Uber drivers or couriers cannot pickup orders. 

Errors & Omissions
We have made every effort to avoid errors on our website. Despite our efforts, a price, description, or photo may sometimes be incorrect. If this happens, you will be notified of changes before we ship to you. Some pictures may vary slightly from the description.

All orders are subject to product availability. If an item is not in stock at the time you place your order, we will notify you and either find a substitution or refund you for the product that was ordered.
